 The Third Annual Lipid Nutrition and Safety Symposium of Jiangnan University International Joint Research Laboratory will be held on Oct. 17-18, 2019 in Aarhus University, Denmark. 

 

The International Joint Research Laboratory for Lipid Nutrition and Safety in Jiangnan University, Wuxi, China was established at June, 2016, with Cornell University, University of Georgia,
lowa State University, University of Massachusetts, Aarhus University and Jiangnan University as academic partners, and Wilmar International Ltd. as the industrial partner. The mission is to exchange scientific ideas and promote international collaboration on the research of Lipid Nutrition and Safety, advance research excellency and materialize processing technology in lipid refining and food production.

 

The research of Food Science and Technology of Jiangnan University is highly internationally recognized. They are No. 1 for many times in Chinese   National Academic Discipline Ranking;  ESI Ranking (Agricultural Sciences): Top 1‰ (2017) and US News Global Ranking (Agricultural Sciences): No. 11 (2017).

Many scientists and professors from Jiangnan University has been studied or short-term visited in Aarhus University.

After the first successful symposium in Jiangnan University, Wuxi, China and the second time in Iowa Stste University, Ames, IA, USA, at Oct. 17-18, 2019, the world leading researchers in lipid areas from the US, Denmark and China  will be gathered in Aarhus to have seminaral discuss on the hot topics on lipid nutrition and safety. Scientists from local industries and from Department of Engineering, Department of Food Science and iNANO etc will host this event at AU Campus, Gustav wieds Vej 10.
